Palmetto Little League still looking for ball fields

PALMETTO -- Although the North River American Little League registered more players this season than it did in recent years, it still does not have the appropriate ball fields to play on.

New Castle Little League umpires sought

New Castle Little League is seeking umpires for the baseball and softball seasons. A meeting will be held at the league complex on Frenchtown Road at 2 p.m. on Feb. 12.

Little League starts registration

Redding Little League Baseball has opened registration for the spring 2012 season. Players between the ages of five to 14 may register online by clicking the baseball page on the Redding-Easton Boys & Girls Club (REBGC) website at www.rbgc.net. Registration will continue over the next month.
